Suspects in TAHS Softball Field Damage Identified
Two individuals responsible for damage done to the Tyrone High School varsity softball field over the weekend have been identified, according to school district officials.
Because both individuals are minors, the names of those responsible were not released to the Eagle Eye.
District officials indicated that one of the suspects turned themselves in on Tuesday.
Tyrone Area School District Director of Facilities Jordan Good said that the field will be repaired as soon as possible and he expects to have them ready for the start of the season.
“We went over this morning to assess the damage and to see what needed to be done to get the field ready. As soon as the weather breaks it will only take the guys a day or two to repair the field and get some grass planted to have it ready for the softball season,” said TASD Director of Facilities Jordan Good.

I agree, Danielle. It makes no sense that these two minors decided it would be funny to do this. They both should NOT have thought about that. All the softball players cannot play now because of the field getting destroyed!

As the former JR High coach many years ago this breaks my heart! Those involved should be paying for the repairs!
