What did you do this summer? Teacher’s edition

The summer is a time when everyone looks forward to. Not only do students get off, but so do the teachers.

We asked a few teachers three questions about their summer vacations.  Here’s what they had to say:

 

Plummer

Mr. Dan Plummer, carpentry teacher

Question 1: How was your summer?

Plummer: My summer was great!

Question 2: What are some things you did?

I went camping with my family and went on a few vacations.

Question 3: How do you feel to be back in school?

To be back in school I obviously would love to still be off with my family, but now that schools here we’re getting back into the rhythm and routine.

Vancus

Mr. Ed Vancas, metal shop teacher

Question 1: How was your summer?

Vancus: It was good!

Question 2: What are some things you did?

I did some gardening and enjoyed time with my wife.

Question 3: How do you feel to be back in school?

Well its the 35th time I’ve been back, and it’s still all the same!

 

Hetrick

Mrs. Jessica Hetrick, middle school social studies teacher

Question 1: How was your summer?

Hetrick: My summer was good.

Question 2: What are some things you did?

I spent some time with my sons and husband. I went to the beach, and taught summer school.

Question 3: How do you feel to be back in school?

I’m just excited for a new school year!

 Mr. Tom Coleman, physical education teacher.

Question 1: How was your summer?

Coleman: My summer was very busy!

Question 2: What are some things you did?

I taught summer gym for 8 weeks. I did some landscaping, I mowed some lawns, and helped Mr. Rhoades coach my son’s baseball team.

Question 3: How do you feel to be back in school?

It’s nice to be back into routine.

 

Bradfer

Mrs. Tiffany Smith, high school math teacher

Question 1: How was your summer?

Smith: My summer was extremely busy.

Question 2: What are some things you did?

I got married, started building my home, and went to California.

Question 3: How do you feel to be back in school?

I’m glad to be back, and excited to see how this year goes.
