Softball at Hollidaysburg
The Lady Eagles came out with a big win against the Hollidaysburg Tigers playing under the lights on Thursday night winning 7-5.
In the third inning, Senior Maci Brodzina put a shot over the left-center fence giving the Eagles a 2-1 lead, scoring Junior Beth Pearson, who was 3 for 3 on the night.

Going into the fifth inning trailing 5-2, Beth Pearson hit a single to start the inning. Brodzina and Maecy Tuskovich both were walked, causing the bases to be loaded.
Freshman Sam Shaw hit a grounder to the first basemen. The player for Hollidaysburg turned to throw it home and hit Shaw in the stomach. While this is all going on, Pearson and Brodzina were both able to score.
Junior Maci Lingenfelter then got a base hit, scoring Tuskovich and tying the game 5-5.
In the following inning, Pearson hit another single. Brodzina follows up with a double, scoring Pearson. Tuskovich then had a sacrifice fly, giving Tyrone the win.
