Eagle Eye: What are your plans after high school?

Brittany Weaver: “To go to college and major in criminal justice and forensic science, and minor in psychology.”

EE: What is your favorite high school memory?

BW: “My first year going to prom. I don’t have many memorable moments to look back on, but that’s certainly one of the few.”

EE: Who is your favorite teacher of your high school career? Why?

BW: “Mr. Funicelli. He keeps class fun and enjoyable, plus I like the way he teaches-he makes it a lot easier to learn.”

EE: What was your favorite class?

BW: “Dual enrollment Chem II”

EE: What are you most looking forward to after graduation?

BW: “Taking the next step in my life and going to college. I’m ready to start writing my next chapter.”

EE: What extracurricular activities are you involved in?

BW: “The musical, choir and band.”

EE: Have you always been a Golden Eagle? If so, how long? And if not, when did you become one?

BW: “Yes, I’ve lived in Tyrone my whole life – this is the only school I’ve ever gone to.”

EE: What will you miss most about high school?

BW: “Constantly having my friends around me. It’s something small that you take for granted until you realize it’s about to be gone.”

EE: What is your favorite sports team?

BW: “Pittsburgh Steelers”

EE: If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?

BW: “I would want the ability to read minds, just because you’d always be able to know how someone’s truly feeling and what’s on their mind.”

EE: What is your favorite animal?

BW: “I love horses.”

EE: What is your favorite food?

BW: “Sushi”

EE: Advice to underclassmen?

BW: “Enjoy the time you have in high school – don’t take it for granted. Appreciate all of it because no matter how slow it seems to be going, or how far away your last year left seems to be, it goes by quickly and you’re going to wish you could go back. Get involved and try as hard as you can.”
