Prologue to The Human Condition: A Poll

Each week Eagle Eye writer Noah Taylor explores a different aspect of the “human condition.”

With the recent publication of my article, “Ignorance May Be Bliss, But Knowledge Will Always Be Power,” my desire for furthering my overall worldview has been peaked much higher than I would have expected. With this in mind, I wish to build upon the thoughts presented in the aforementioned writing.

I have decided to take up what is intended to be a regularly scheduled column here on the Eagle Eye. In these currently unwritten works, I hope to further the development of the minds of my peers and schoolmates through as much level-headed, holistic perspective as possible. My intent is to hopefully incorporate a sense of personal identity and an open-minded worldview into as many individuals as I can.

Through my writing I at no point wish to portray myself as all-knowing or more knowledgeable than any other person out there, I simply feel that life is a great journey and that human nature, as well as societal normalcy, do a good job at deterring most from fully opening their minds and gaining the fullest possible understanding of the various questions and concerns posed by the deeper states of thinking that the brain allows.

It is my personal belief that there is no tool more advanced and more capable of unlocking the truest secrets of the world than the human mind.

With this all being said, I wish to get a better understanding of my audience and the realms of thinking that said audience would like to explore the most.
