Summer, a time that should be for meant for hanging out with friends, relaxing, and having a good time, is not.

I don’t like summer all too much. Even though it has no school, shining suns, and freedom, I don’t like it.

There is less interaction between friends. During the school year, most people could see their friends for most days.

I think summer sucks”

— Haydn Loudenslager

But during the summer, people have to plan to meet up, call their friends, use a car to get to the meetup and paying for food, along with other things.

Also the temperature. It is extremely hot all the time, and the only escape is the A/C or the beach. And going to some beaches cost a pretty penny and the A/C also uses a good dollar put on the power bill.

Working over the summer really ruins it too. Some kids are told by their parents that they have to get a job. Which take out some of the ‘Joys’ of summer.

It is thought of a time to take a break and not to do much. That is all taken away when a summer job comes in.

You have to wake up at a certain time, go to work, and go home at a different time. Just like school.

And trips and vacations are to crowded in the summer. Since most people plan vacations during the summer, the vacation place is more crowded.

There are a few (many) problems with summer, but hey, least we get out of school.
