Eagle Eye: How many years have you been cheering for?

Lexus Weaver: 2 years

EE: How did you start cheerleading?

LW: My parents, especially my dad enjoy going to sporting events, so I thought it would be cool to try something new.

EE: What’s your favorite memory?

LW: Seeing the boys basketball team beat Bellefonte 55-54, with Ross having the buzzer-beater. So much energy!

EE: What’s your favorite part about cheer?

LW: Being able to be a role model for younger girls and being able to work hard as a team to achieve goals.

EE: How has cheer impacted you?

LW: It has allowed me to get out of my comfort zone, and has made me more confident in myself.

EE: What sport do you prefer to cheer for?

LW: I enjoy cheering for football, although I like to cheer for boys basketball as well.

EE: What’s your favorite cheer?

LW: “Orange and Black. Let’s go Eagles!”

EE: What are you going to miss the most?

LW: I most definitely will miss Friday nights and of course my best friend Jenna!

EE: What are your plans for after High School?

LW: To either go into the medical field or start my own business.

EE: Advice to future cheerleaders

LW: Smile, and have fun because it will be gone before you know it!
