On a very rainy day, the Golden Eagles hoped to pull out a big win over their rival, the Huntington Bearcats.  Tyrone ultimately lost the game 1-0 by an unlucky goal.

Tyrone overall looked like the better team, but they just couldn’t find a goal.  Even the Huntington coach admitted, “We did not deserve to win this game.  We did not play the better game.”

Tyrone started the half off playing well with the ball.  Tyrone was able to move the ball across the field without having Huntington touch the ball.  Tyrone played well with the ball, but the couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.  Tyrone was able to get a few shots off, but they either went too far to the side, or the Huntington goalie was able to get in front of the ball.  The Tyrone defense was able to shut down the Bearcat offense making the score 0-0 at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Tyrone came out with the same intensity on offense but still couldn’t get a goal against Huntington.
