Tyrone suffered their second loss of the season Monday at Juniata.

Senior Ethan Vipond, the reigning Mountain League MVP, lost his match against Juniata’s number one player. That was just the start of Tyrone’s performance woes.

Tyrone’s issues performing were largely due to the fact that it was snowing. Nonetheless, a loss is a loss.

Tyrone is now 1-2 on the season and their next match is Tuesday against Altoona.

Singles:
#1) Tristan Amey (J) def. Ethan Vipond (T) 6-4, 6-2.
#2) Paul Lemaire (T) def. Seth Strawser (J) 6-3, 6-0.
#3) Jessen Abram (J) def. Noah Irvin (T) 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Doubles:
#1) Caden Brooks, and Brandon Kemp (T) def. Colin Mianulli, and George Hazard (J) 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
#2) Bre Terry, and Lawson Fitzgerald (J) def. Trevor Fink, and Hunter Reese (T) 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

Tyrone (1-2), Juniata (2-0)
