Golden Eagles fall to Clearfield

The Golden Eagles suffered another tough loss on Monday when they took a 16-1 beating by the Clearfield Bison, Clearfield erupted in the first inning for 16 runs off of Micah Woomer ultimately ending the ending the game.

Tyrone’s bats were nowhere to be found in the game as they only collected two hits in the game. The hits were produced by Kevin Lehner and Matthew Savino. Lehner also drove in Tyrone’s only run with an RBI double in the top of the third inning.

Tyrone was plagued by errors and strong winds that led to a few missed balls by both outfielders and infielders

With the loss Tyrone falls to 3-8 on the season, with a 2-7 record in the Mountain League.
