Eliza Vance, a high-school freshman is excited about the new school year and new privileges.

Eagle Eye: What is the biggest transition from middle school to high school in your opinion?

Eliza Vance: “The biggest transition in my opinion is the way you are treated and the way you are supposed to act. When you get into high school you are treated more like an adult.”

EE: Do you have any sports or extracurricular activities you are excited to continue into high school?

EV: “Soccer and track as well as ski club.”

EE: What is something you will miss about middle school?

EV: “Something I will miss about middle school, projects were easy.”

EE: What is something you didn’t expect about high school?

EV: “Something I didn’t expect high school is how easy it is to find your classes.”

EE: What is your favorite thing about being in high school so far?

EV: “Playing varsity soccer and the cafe.”

EE: Which class is the most difficult? Why?

EV: “History because I don’t find it interesting.”

EE: What is your favorite thing to do?

EV: “Hanging out with friends and play soccer.”

EE: What/who is your favorite song/artist right now?

EV: “Khalid”

EE: Who is your favorite teacher, why?

EV: “Mr. Wilson because he is laid back.”

EE: What advice would you give to next year’s freshman?

EV: “High school is much better than middle school.”
