Eagle Eye Promposal Contest: Hunting for the Perfect Date
Senior Jake Fetters used his love for hunting when asking Freshman Haile Walk to prom. The two have been friends for awhile and Fetters was ‘hunting’ for the perfect way to ask her. Walk was surprised with the promposal and is excited to be going to the prom this year!
Promposer: Jake Fetters
Eagle Eye: Describe in detail how you asked them.
Jake Fetters: I had a box full of bullets and on them said, ”I’ve been hunting for a way to ask you…” and the inside of the box said ”prom?”
EE: Why did you choose this person to ask?
JF: Because we have been goof friends for awhile now.
EE: Where did you get the inspiration for the idea?
JF: I had the idea the entire time.
Promposee: Haile Walk
Eagle Eye: Give us your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?
Haile Walk: Because he told me he planned on asking me, he just wanted to wait for the right time.
EE: Describe how you were asked and how you felt.
HW: He showed up at my house with the box of bullets and asked me, of course I said yes.
EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?
HW: I knew he wanted to ask me, I just didn’t know when.
EE: Why should you win the contest?
HW: Because it was a creative way and no one has ever been asked this way.
