Eagle Eye Promposal Contest: Best Friends Prom part 2

Heather Osterhout and Brittney Williams with their promposal.

Senior Heather Osterhout and TAHS Alumni Brittney Williams have been best friends for as long as they can remember.

Heather knew Brittney would make her senior prom really fun since Brittney brought her for her junior prom. With the help of her friends Tyler and Megan, Heather made a poster and went out to her house to scare her. Almost hitting Heather with her car, Brittney saw the fluorescent pink sign reading “Sorry I’m not Grayson Dolan or Grayson Putt but PROM?”. Heather used pictures of both Grayson’s on the poster because Brittney loves Grayson and is also dating Grayson.

Promposer: Heather Osterhout

Eagle Eye: Describe in detail how you asked them.

HO: “I made a pink sign with the help of Tyler’s art expertise. I went to her house before she got off work and scared her. She almost hit me with her car but it was worth it. Megan and Tyler helped me come up with the idea and how to design it.”

EE: Why did you choose this person to ask?

HO: “We have been friends for a very long time. I knew she would dance and have fun at prom. It’s always good to take one of your best friends.”

EE: Where did you get the inspiration for the idea?

HO: “Brittney loves Grayson Dolan. It’s also a coincidence that her boyfriend’s name is Grayson.”

EE: What relationship do you have with this person?

HO: “We are best friends, dance buddies, and shopping sisters. We’ve known each other for years thanks to dance.”

Promposee: Brittney Williams

Eagle Eye: Give your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?

BW: “I think she asked me because we are good friends and went to prom together and had a good time.”

EE: Describe in detail how you were asked and how you felt.

BW: “She asked me in my driveway. I almost ran her over. Without that pink sign, she’d be done…scared, happy, and excited.”

EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?

BW: “No not at all.”

EE: Why should you win the contest?

BW: “Her promposal was real good. We are really good friends and we are practically going to slay the game at prom.”
