Eagle Eye Promposal Contest: Acing the Deal to Prom

Freshman Levi Blazer asked his girlfriend, junior Torrie Foy to Prom. Levi knew Torrie’s passion for volleyball and decided to make a volleyball themed promposal. After learning the volleyball terms, Levi handed Torrie a decorated volleyball. Torrie was overly excited to get this type of promposal due to her love of volleyball and Levi.

We had a chance to sit down and talk with the couple about their promposal:

Promposer: Levi Blazer

Eagle Eye: Who did you ask to go to prom with?

Levi Blazer: Torrie Foy

EE: Describe in detail how you asked them.

LB: I asked her in the high school gym on Valentine’s Day. She walked into the gym where I handed her a volleyball asking her to prom.

EE: Why did you choose this person?

LB: Because she is my girlfriend of 4 months, and I wanted to make her junior prom special.

EE: Where did you get the inspiration to ask?

LB: Well, she plays volleyball, so I wanted to ask her in a way that related to it.

EE: What relationship do you have with the person?

She is my girl friend.

Promposee:

EE: Give us your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?

Torrie Foy: We have been together for 4 months and I haven’t shut up about prom since December, and he wanted to make my junior prom special.

EE: Describe in detail how you were asked and how you felt.

TF: Levi walked me into the gym that morning. He had Kyle holding the volleyball in a bag, and he handed it to him. Before he asked me to prom, he gave me chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Following that, he handed me a volleyball that had my volleyball number on it. The ball read, “ I’d KILL for you to go to prom with me. I think you would really DIG it. You could really SET me up if you said yes! I hope this volleyball will ACE the deal!” How could I say no, I was ecstatic.

EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?

I knew he was gonna ask me, but I didn’t know how, or that he would ask me on Valentine’s Day.

EE: Why should you win this contest?

He went out of his way, to not only buy me a volleyball, but to also learn the terms so he could make it creative.
