Tyrone Girls Swim Team defeats Huntingdon 100-64, while the boys swim team falls to Huntingdon 46-100. The girl’s team record improves to 4-1.

Madison Coleman led the girl’s team with two wins in the 50-yard freestyle (26.26) and the 100-yard free (58.30).  Matt Lenze led the boy’s team with two wins in the 200 free (2:08.93) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.86).

The girl’s swim team won two relays. They won the 200 medley relay (2:01.10) and 200-yard free relay (1:51.22). The relays included Fiona McConnell, Mae Decker, Sarah Hoover, and Coleman. McConnell won the 100-yard butterfly (1:12.32) and placed second in the 100- yard breaststroke (1:16.39). Hoover won the 200 IM (2:30.45) and placed third in the 100- yard breaststroke (1:17.25). Decker placed second in the 100 freestyle (1:02.30) and placed first in the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.61).

The boy’s team won the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:12.87) and the 200-yard free relay (1:49.75).  The relays included Hunter Gregg, Keegan Raabe, McCracken, and Lenze. Gregg placed second in both the 50-yard free (27.53) and 100-yard free (1:00.26).

The next swim meet is Monday, February 3rd at Altoona at 5 pm.
