Accomplishments: Stricek had a great singles’ record this year for the team and made it to the quarterfinal round of the District 6 Singles Tennis Tournament. She placed 2nd at the District 6 Doubles Tennis Tournament and earned a silver medal with Reese.

[Making the singles quarterfinals and placing second in doubles] is a very big accomplishment because there are only two divisions in high school tennis so it is very hard to accomplish what they did this year. I can’t say enough good things about these two girls they just have a wonderful, and positive attitude.”

Rachel Stricek: I decided to try tennis in 9th grade and I ended up loving the sport since then.

RS: My mom because she always pushes me to do my best.

RS: Rex Orange Country

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
RS: Put hard work in everything you do because it will pay off in the end.

RS: to win District Doubles next year and continue playing tennis in college.

Victoria Reese: My sister joined tennis when she went to high school and liked it so I wanted to do it and I ended up liking it.

VR: Swimming and Softball

VR: My parents because they are always there for me and push me to do my best.

VR: Do sports you like and have fun with them, don’t put too much pressure on yourself and try your best.
