Athlete of the Week: Torrie Foy

Each week the Eagle Eye chooses an athlete of the week from nominations made by the varsity head coaches.

Name: Torrie Foy

Sport: Volleyball

Grade: 11

Accomplishment:

Last week Torrie had 10 digs at Clearfield and 17 vs. Philipsburg

Coaches Kraft’s Quote:

“Torrie is an extremely hard worker and will sacrifice her body (bruises, blood, etc.) for just one point.  In fact, she leads the team in total injuries accumulated since I starting coaching volleyball at Tyrone three years ago.  Torrie is a natural born leader both by her actions and by her emotions.  She is a great teammate and an even better person.”
