Accomplishment:
Last week Torrie had 10 digs at Clearfield and 17 vs. Philipsburg

“Torrie is an extremely hard worker and will sacrifice her body (bruises, blood, etc.) for just one point. In fact, she leads the team in total injuries accumulated since I starting coaching volleyball at Tyrone three years ago. Torrie is a natural born leader both by her actions and by her emotions. She is a great teammate and an even better person.”
EE: How did you first get involved in this sport?
When I was younger, my mom would go to Carp Park in Coudersport and play sand volleyball with her friends and I would join along and I began to love the sport.
EE: What other sport(s) do you play?
I don’t play another sport, but I was a gymnast for 4 years.

Simone Biles
EE: Who is your hero? Why?
My brother Zachary Eschrich. He is in Marine boot camp and I’ve always looked up up him.

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
Never give up when you’re struggling and keep trying.
