Callie has been a big part of the softball program. Callie was named a Altoona Mirror All Star last season. She was third on the team in batting average with a .343. Callie also led the team in doubles the past two years with 15.

Callie Maceno: “I have always played baseball when I was younger so when I couldn’t anymore I switched to softball.”

EE: What other sports do you play?

CM: “Swimming”

EE: Favorite professional sports team?

CM: “The Washington Redskins because I am a family bandwagon.”

CM: “Saquon Barkley”

EE: Who is your hero? Why?

CM: “My hero is my older brother Carter because he is my best friend and he has amazing qualities I wish to have.”

CM: “Work hard for your spot and don’t forget you’re a team.”

CM: “Go to Penn State Altoona for Nursing and become an RN and live my life.”
