Accomplishments: “Damon had a nice week, 18 pts. at Central to go over 1000 pts. for his career, then was one of five players in double figures in a home win vs. Penns Valley. Then Sat. had 29 pts, in a victory over Indiana.” – Coach George Gripp

Coach Geroge Gripp’s Quote: “Through his hard work and dedication to the sport he made this goal of his achievable. You don’t get to this point without spending hours and hours in the gym with your team and countless hours by yourself fine-tuning your skills. No matter what other sport he played, he always found time to get a basketball in his hand and work 6 days a week.  His main focus is getting the team’s goal of a District title to Tyrone and a run in States.”

Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Damon Gripp: “I started playing at the Rec Center in third grade and that’s when I realized that I was good.”

DG: My family

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

DG: “Getting better at sports is a LOT of lonely hours.”

EE: What are your future goals?

DG: “Get money.”
