Sport: Wrestling & Football

Grade: 12

Accomplishments: Ewing took first place at the Laurel Highlands Championships last weekend, and third place at the Panther Holiday Classic. Ewing was also named a PA Football Writers First Team All-State selection. Congratulations Braden!

Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Braden Ewing: My dad signed me up when I was 4.

BE: Minnesota Vikings

BE: Justin Jefferson

EE: Who is your hero?

BE: My mom, she has the kindest and most caring heart

BE: 21 Savage

BE: Jake Rice’s buff chick dip

EE: What advice can you give to younger athletes?

BE: Put the work in and results will follow.

EE: What are your future goals?

BE: Go to college and continue my career in football and/or wrestling while getting a degree to help me become a PT.

Alex Shock is a senior entering his first year in Eagle Eye Newspaper. This year, he is going to be active in multiple different clubs and groups. These groups consist of Youth Action Network (YAN), Golden Revolution, and the Ski Club in the winter season. All of the said clubs will surely look great on his resume when he applies for PennWest Clarion University, hoping to achieve a Master's degree in Psychology. Alex enjoys watching and playing basketball in his free time, as well as hanging out with friends and family. A fun fact about Alex is that he was born and spent the majority of his childhood in none other than Bellwood, Tyrone's biggest rival!

Hello, this is Ashlynn! She is a senior and this is her third and final year in Eagle Eye. She is very involved in her school community; she is an officer in YAN, a member of the Student Council, Golden Revolution, Prom Committee, NHS, Mock Trial, Quiz League, and Speech Team, and she is also on the tennis and swim teams. Often Ashlynn can be found with her camera, usually taking pictures at some sporting event. Ashlynn hopes to continue improving her photography skills and cover news stories that are important to the community. After high school, she plans to attend a four-year university with a major in biology in hopes of one day becoming a doctor.
