Wildfires. Killer viruses. Impeachment. Celebrity deaths. So far 2020 hasn’t been all that happy.

We’re just over a month into the new year and so far 2020 isn’t looking very good.

The 2020 pain train began in Australia with the disastrous wildfires that have killed more than 30 people destroyed tens of millions of acres. The fires started in the Australian dry season, May through October, and are still burning.

Over one billion animals have also perished from the blazes and pushed koalas down further into the endangered species list. Foreign support has been sent and the rains started to come, but the end of the fire still isn’t soon.

Starting in Wuhan China, there have been over 6,000 cases of the Coronavirus. The disease originated from infected animals, like civets and bats, and has now mutated to where it can now be transmitted human to human and by the air.

The fires were the first concern for Australians, but bringing us into the next topic; there have been over nine cases of the coronavirus in Australia alone.

Ironically 2020 is the year of the rat and it starts with a plague.

Starting in Wuhan China, there have been over 6,000 cases of the Coronavirus. The disease originated from infected animals, like civets and bats, and has now mutated to where it can now be transmitted human to human and by the air.

The virus gives the victims flu-like symptoms, has an incubation period of two days or up to two weeks, and has a fatality rate of 2%.

Along with China and Australia being infected with the disease, the countries of Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, France, Germany, Canada, Singapore, Macau, Finland, the Philippines, India, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Britain, Italy, India, and the United States of America have been infected.

Speaking of the USA, the United States of America’s internal and external tensions have been booming.

Internally the same old same old has been going on in the US. The trials for impeaching President Trump, like the wildfires, have been carried along from 2019. The House of Representatives has already impeached the President and the partisan divide is as wide as ever.

Moving back to the other side of the world, we are in the Carribean. On January twenty-eighth a 7.7 magnitude earthquake originated west-southwest of Cuba. The vibrations of the earthquake were felt in Cuba, Florida, Jamaica, Mexico, Belize, and Honduras with no reported deaths.

Death can shrike us all at any given time affecting many. Professional basketball player and coach Kobe Bryant was one of many influential people that have shuffled off this mortal coil.

Death can shrike us all at any given time affecting many. Professional basketball player and coach Kobe Bryant was one of many influential people that have shuffled off this mortal coil.

On January twenty-sixth nine people took off into a dense fog. The pilot was only flying for fourteen minutes after permitted take-off. After the helicopter crashed it started a brush fire preventing the fire crews from performing a rescue attempt any faster than what they could. Among those killed were Kobe’s daughter Gianna, baseball coach John Altobelli along with his wife and child, Mother of a four-year-old Christina Mauser, Mother and Daughter Sarah and Payton Chester, and pilot Ara Zobayan.

For the days that followed the tragic event, the world stood in denial and remembrance of one of the most famous and influential figures in current America.

In just 38 days, the world seems to have gone downhill really fast, but some events have been planned to occur in the following months that will have global effects possibly for the better of humanity.

Presidential elections will take place in November, Prince Harry and The Duchess of Sussex plan to resign from the monarchy and move to Canada, NASA will send a drone to Mars to test the possible stability of human life, Dubai will be holding the 2020 World Expo, and Egypt hopes to eradicate the Hepatitis C epidemic in its country.
