Cameron ‘The Flash’ Bakhsheshe running down his dream at Duquesne

Cameron Bakhsheshe, the speedster of the Golden Eagles football team, caught up to a lifetime goal of his when he committed to attend and play football at Duquesne University in the fall. Bakhsheshe will take his lock down defense and his quick feet to the city of Pittsburgh, where he hopes to shine as a Duke.

Tyrone fans have known Bakhsheshe as an exceptional player and student.

He showed up for the Eagles in clutch situations throughout the year – he had key interceptions against Bellwood and Mountain Union in the fourth to clinch those games. He also had a game turning touchdown against Bellwood.

We could talk about Bakhsheshe play for us forever, but his life isn’t all about football, and Bakhsheshe plans to excel in the classroom first.

“I plan on majoring in pre-med and minoring in business,” said Bakhsheshe, “medicine is always something I’ve seen myself doing.”

Bakhsheshe choose Duquesne because he fell in love with the campus and everything it has to offer. “Although it was the first college I visited, I knew it was the college I wanted to go to” says Cameron.
