The 5th Annual Camp Anderson Zombie Trail Run is this Saturday, November 1, and it’s not too late to register!
This isn’t just any race. At a zombie race, participants can register as either a runner or a zombie.
Zombies don’t run the course, but have lots of fun trying to capture the runners. It’s perfect for those who are not avid runners, but want to be part of the fun.
There will be two zombie zones that the runners have to pass through.
All runners wear a flag football belt with several flags attached it. In the “zombie zones,” zombies will jump out and try to take the flags from the runners. Since this is a two-lap course, the runners will have to go through four zombie zones.
Zombies are also encouraged to dress the part, and the scariest zombies will also win an award.
If being a zombie sounds fun, don’t wait, as there are limited spots available!
Race:
The race is two miles long and takes place on the trails at Camp Anderson. It’s a two-lap course, so each lap is one mile long.
