Join the Tyrone Area FFA as they recognize their superpowers at their 87th Annual Awards Night. This event will highlight the achievements of the chapter and its supporters over the past year, following the chapter theme of “Discover Your Powers.”
The event will be hosted on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in the High School Auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. The event is open and free to the public and is expected to run for about 2 hours, providing an evening filled with celebration and recognition.
A student-driven committee has been meticulously planning the event over the past few months. Frances Weaver, the chair of the committee, expressed her enthusiasm for helping organize the event.
“Over the past couple of weeks, I have been finalizing plans for the awards night. It has given me the chance to highlight the members in our chapter, reflect on our amazing supporters and sponsors, and write a script, which I found extremely fun,” said Weaver.
Recognition will be given to all members of the chapter and community.
Junior Madisen Jones described why the event is so special.
“The award ceremony has a special place in our chapter. It showcases the hard work our chapter has put into the things they set their minds to. It makes me feel like all the work I put into the things I do with this chapter are important and worth it,” said Jones.
