Youth Action Network’s next fun-filled event is this Friday. All TAES students in pre-K through fourth grade are invited to attend YAN’s free annual 4D movie night on Friday, March 15 at 5 pm at the high school cafeteria.
This year’s movie is the classic Pixar film Toy Story.
Kids are encouraged to show up to the movie with blankets and pillows. They should also feel free to wear their comfy pajamas to relax during the movie.
As the movie plays, high school students from the YAN club will be dressed up as characters and act out scenes from the film in front of the screen.
Tyrone high school teacher and YAN advisor Tracy Redinger looks forward to 4D movie every year, but said that this year’s event should be especially fun.
“We have been practicing really hard and the actors are excited about the scenes from the movie we’re performing this year,” Mrs. Redinger said. “We have fun Toy Story-themed snacks and toys planned to hand out to the kids that night as well.”
Some characters being acted out are Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Porky the Pig.
Toy Story-themed snacks and prizes will be handed out to kids throughout the movie.
Each guest will also be given a free book at the end of the 4D movie event.
