Vance and LaRosa Score 3 Each In Win Over Huntingdon
The Lady Eagles got their third win of the season, defeating the winless Huntingdon Bearcats, 6-1.
Both senior Eliza Vance and senior Chloe LaRosa had a hat trick.
Vance started the game strong, scoring just 3 minutes in, giving the Lady Eagles their first goal. Vance went unassisted in her goal.
The rest of the half went as a defensive battle between the two teams. With no goals scored for the remainder of the half, the first half ended 1-0, with Tyrone holding the lead.
Going into halftime, it looked like a close game, but Tyrone blew the game wide open in the second half with five goals.
Vance started off the second half by scoring her second goal of the night going unassisted.
Shortly after, Huntingdon managed to retaliate, scoring their only goal of the night, keeping the game tight at 2-1.
Then the Lady Eagles kicked it into high gear. LaRosa went on to score two more goals for the Lady Eagles. Vance and junior Maddy Whitby assisted LaRosa in her goals.
Vance broke through Huntingdon’s defense one final time, scoring her last goal of the night.
LaRosa scored her third goal of the night to finish the game off giving Tyrone the 6-1 win over Huntingdon. Vance assisted LaRosa on her last goal.
