A new tradition is coming to Reservoir Park this holiday season. Lights in the Park is a drive-through holiday light display, organized by the Tyrone Improvement Group local businesses, and organizations.
Tyrone Improvement Group leader Ann Osborne said they wanted to do something to bring the community together for some holiday cheer that is inexpensive and fun.
The drive-through-only event costs $5 per vehicle.
Cars will enter the light display from Route 453, turn left, and drive through the park loop.
Along the way will be light displays and pavilions decorated by various local businesses, non-profit groups, and families.
Visitors will see the Polar Express, nutcrackers, and other Christmas-themed displays like lights, sleighs, and presents. Click the slideshow above for a sneak peek of the displays.
Lights in the Park will run weekends on December 5th-7th, 12th-14th, and 19th-22nd from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Osborne said they would like to make this an annual event.
If you decide to go, don’t forget to have a good time and tell your friends and family about it.
