Dance Fusion’s competition team has put in a lot of hard work over the summer and is ready to begin its 2025-2026 season.
“I’m so excited to kick off year 23,” said owner and Artistic Director Lindsay Pullara. “We have so many fun things planned for this season, and I can’t wait to see all of our dancers grow, shine, and share their love of dance. It’s always such an incredible feeling when the season begins.”
The season begins on February 6-8 at Platinum Competition in Harrisburg and continues throughout the fall, with additional competitions at All Out and Deca in Altoona, and Turn It Up in Lancaster.
The team will be young this season, with only two senior dancers.
One of the seniors is Kara Wood of Altoona, who attends Bishop Guilfoyle High School.
This is Kara’s third year on the Dance Fusion competition team.
“I’m so excited for the 2025-2026 Dance Fusion season. This year’s focus is all about growing as dancers, pushing our bond as a team, and sharing our passion for dance as a family,” said Wood.
The second senior this year is Mackenna Ellero, a homeschooled student from State College.
This is Mackenna’s first year on the Dance Fusion competition team.
“I’m so excited for this season. I can’t wait to see how much we grow together as a team,” said Ellero.
Other members of the competition team from Tyrone Area High School are junior Sway Cornelius, freshman Bella Smith, and freshman Jaycee Frye.
Dance Fusions competition dancers are ready to work hard and get this season started.
