Tyrone wrestling falls short in the worst way
In possibly the worst lost Tyrone has suffered this season, nothing seemed to go the Eagles’ way in a 73-6 loss to Clearfield.
Tyrone’s entire roster, with the exception of Devon Brown and Jamal Hicks, lost by fall.
“I can’t stand seeing us get our butts handed to us. That was absolutely embarrassing,” said sophomore Jamal Hicks.
The one bright spot for the Eagles occurred when junior Devon Brown came out with a pin at 120.
Jamal Hicks was the only member of the wrestling squad to last a full match, but fell short 8-5.
Tyrone falls to 2-7 on the season and will face school rival Bellwood Antis on this upcoming Thursday.
