Tyrone to Increase Gray Field Seating Capacity to 1,100 for Home Football Games

Attendance for varsity football games at Gray Field has been increased from 250 to 1,100 people, effective this Friday for the home game against Huntingdon.

Details of the plan were shared with the staff of the district and local media on Monday evening by TASD Athletic Director Luke Rhoades.

According to the email, 1,100 people represent 25% seating capacity at Gray Field.

Beginning this week, Tyrone football players and coaching staff, band members, and cheerleaders will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets each before Friday at 3:00 p.m.

The visiting players and coaching staff will each have two tickets available for purchase at a will-call window at Gray Field.

There will be approximately 700 tickets available for sale at Gray Field to the general public.  The ticket booth and gates will open at 5:30.

All tickets will be $5.00.

There will be no reserved seats and no passes accepted at the gate.

Fans with pre-purchased tickets should enter the field at the upper gate near the scoreboard.

Spectators should be seated and not walking throughout the stadium.  

SPECTATOR RULES:

Spectators must comply with entering and exiting procedures of the venue.

Masks must be worn at all times.

Seating areas will allow for members of the same household to sit together while maintaining social distancing from others in attendance.

Spectators must self-screen and agree not to attend event, if experiencing a fever above 100.4 and any of the following COVID-19 signs and symptoms:

Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache

New loss of taste or smell

Sore throat, congestion or runny nose

Diarrhea, nausea or vomiting

Spectators at no time are permitted to enter the field of play or bench areas.
