The Tyrone boys and girls varsity swim teams had their final meet of the season on February 2 at home.
The boys 200 medley relay team of Isaac Yeskey, Patrick Van Kluenun, Lucas Bonsell, and Owen Dunkleburger placed first with a time of 1:54.65.
Patrick Van Kluenun took first place in the boys 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.06.
For the boys 50-yard freestyle, Isaac Yeskey took first place with a time of 24:84.
Junior Lucas Bonsell claimed first place in the boys 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59:64.
For the boys, 100-yard freestyle, Chase Gallagher secured second place with a time of 58:27.
In the boys 500-yard freestyle, Junior Dylan Eckenrode placed second with a time of 6:04.94.
The boys 200-yard freestyle relay consisting of Owen Dunklebarger, Lucas Bonsell, Issac Yeskey, Patrick Van Kluenen secured first place with a time of 1:42.85.
Freshman Patrick Van Kluenen secured first place in the boys 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.86.
For the boys 100-yard breaststroke, Nelson Cameron secured first place with a time of 1:16.81.
Finally, the boys 400-yard freestyle relay team consisting of Lucas Bonsell, Cameron Gallagher, Chase Gallagher, and Eric Goodman secured first place with a time of 4:08.06.
The boys ended the season 8-2.
First up, the girls placed second with a 200-yard relay team consisting of Blake Pennington, Sophia Cowher, Adalyn Jeffries, and Grace Corl with a time of 2:37.09.
For the 200-yard freestyle, Blake Pennington took third place with a time of 2:40.93.
For the girls 50-yard freestyle, Grace Corl took second place with a time of 29.81.
Junior Grace Corl claimed second place in the girls 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:09.77.
In the girls 500 yard freestyle, Senior Sophia Cowher placed second with a time of 6:50.54.
The girls 200-yard freestyle relay consisting of Grace Corl, Blake Pennington, Adalyn Jeffries, and Sophia Cowher secured second place with a time of 2:05.45.
For the girls 100 yards backstroke, Blake Pennington placed third with a time of 1:27.15.
Finally the girls 400-yard freestyle relay team consisting of Bella Laird, Julie Kraft, Shiloh Price, and Sophia Witkamp placed second with a time of 5:47.73.
The girls ended the season 0-10.
