Tyrone Loses to Hollidaysburg
Tyrone lost to Hollidaysburg on October 15th by a score of 4-1.
This was a highly anticipated game for Tyrone as it was a rematch of the 2019 District championship where Tyrone lost to Hollidaysburg in a close game.
Tyrone had an explosive start to the game, driving down the field and putting pressure on Hollidaysburg immediately.
The Golden Eagles managed to work their way down the field and score to make the game1-0.
Although Tyrone and Hollidaysburg stepped up their offensive attacks, neither team could find the back of the net for the rest of the half.
In the second half, Hollidaysburg was ready to go, instantly attacking Tyrone and tying the game making the score 1-1.
They kept up the same energy moving forward in the game maneuvering scoring again to take the lead over Tyrone 2-1.
Tyrone made defensive changes to attempt to account for Hollidaysburg’s offensive attack.
But as Tyrone worked to ball down the field they turned it over which allowed Hollidaysburg to run up the score to make it 3-1.
Tyrone was now in a fully offensive attack trying to make a comeback but they were not successful and Hollidaysburg scored once again to make it 4-1.
