Tyrone Indoor Percussion Places First at Chapters
Good luck to the Indoor Percussion Team at Championships in Wildwood this weekend
The Tyrone Percussion Ensemble performed at the Region 11 Championships this past weekend, taking first place and earning a score of 84.10.
This Wednesday, May 1st the indoor ensemble will travel to Wildwood, New Jersey for the Atlantic Coast Championships.
“Chapters was one of our best shows yet, and I can’t wait to perform at Wildwood,” said band member Abby Roberts.
In order for the indoor ensemble to make it to the finals at Wildwood the ensemble will need to place in at least fourth.
Currently Tyrone is one tenth of a point behind Great Valley High School. Tyrone is headed to the Wildwood prelims in fifth place.

IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT I WISH THE GOLDEN EAGLE INDOOR PERCUSSION THE BEST OF LUCK AT WILD WOOD THIS WEEK. YOU ARE A HARD WORKING GROUP OF TERRIFIC MUSICIANS. ENJOY THE COMPETITION AND MAYBE A SWIM IN THE OCEAN. YOU ALL KNOW HOW MUCH I SUPPORT THE BAND PROGRAM.

Great article Cliff! Keep them coming all through Marching Band season as well. Good luck to the Indoor Percussion in Wildwood. We hope you make the finals. Also, good luck to both groups of the Star-Lite Twirlers. Hope you can pull it out and make it a 3-peat Sr. team!!
