Tyrone Indoor Percussion Places Second At Jersey Shore High School
The Tyrone indoor percussion ensemble performed at Jersey Shore High School this past weekend and placed second in their division with a total score of 77.30.
The percussion ensemble increased their score by more than seven points from their previous performance at Westmont Hilltop High School.
“We finished putting all of our show on the floor and the nice jump in score shows that. We had a good performance. We’ll keep working on refining to be competitive and keep increasing our score.” said Band Director David Hock.
The remaining competitions remaining in the 2018 indoor season are Johnstown, Region 11 Championships at St.Mary’s, and the TIA Atlantic Coast Championships in Wildwood New Jersey.
In the current Tournament Indoor Association rankings, the percussion team is ranked ninth with a score of 77.30.
The Indoor Percussion will travel to Greater Johnstown High School to compete on Saturday, April 21st, 2018. The percussion ensemble will perform at 5:40 pm.
