The Tyrone Lady Eagles faced the Philipsburg Mounties on Thursday, October 8th. Senior Makenna Bauer ended the second set with an accomplishment of hitting 500 kills.

The Lady Eagles knew what they had coming to them when playing against Philipsburg. They knew they had to strive to be the best they can be for a win that night.

In the first set, the Lady Mounties got on top and took the lead away from the Lady Eagles. The set ended 16-25.

The next set started differently, the Lady Eagles were determined to pull out a win. Tyrone got ahead and kept their heads high even when they lost a point. Tyrone pulled through and won this set 25-22. This set ended with Senior Makenna Bauer hitting her 500th kill.

In the third set, the Lady Eagles were relieved to win the last set, and they wanted to win this set also. Tyrone stayed head to head with Philipsburg in this set but ended up making a few mistakes which kept them behind in the score. Philipsburg ended up winning this set 18-25.

Even though Tyrone was losing 2-1 they still kept their heads high and competed for this win. Tyrone ends up losing this set 22-25.
