Tyrone Band Marches Forward With a New High Score
The Tyrone Marching Band finished in first place with a high score of 87.59 at the Johnstown High School on Saturday.
Drum Major Kaleigh Brodzina was thrilled and surprised that they placed first.
“After we performed, we all came off the field thinking it wasn’t too good. But when we heard the score, my heart jumped and I got so excited,” said Brodzina, “Knowing that we scored that high on an off night, I couldn’t even imagine what it would be if we did the best possible.”

This week the band prepares for the Region Championships at DuBois on Saturday, October 23rd.
