The Tyrone Area FFA is excited to announce its new officer team for the 2025-2026 school year. Each of these dedicated individuals has worked hard to earn their positions and truly deserves this opportunity.
The Tyrone Area FFA Chapter Officers adopted the theme “Be the Spark: Ignite the Future” for the 2025-2026 school year. This theme symbolizes the innate motivation present in every young person, essential for discovering meaning and joy in life.
Frances Weaver will serve as the FFA President. As a senior at Tyrone Area High School, Frances brings previous experience as an FFA officer. Her interests include farming and public speaking, and she lives by the motto, “Try everything.”
The team includes two vice presidents: Paige Hoy and Cassidy Fleck. Paige, serving as Vice President #1 and also a senior, enjoys crocheting and is a devoted dancer. Her guiding quote is, “I am the master of my fate, I am the Captain of my soul.” Cassidy, who will be Vice President #2 and is entering her junior year, is passionate about tennis and horseback riding. She believes in the saying, “Sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn.”
Carlie Nowlin is stepping into the role of secretary. As a senior and a former FFA officer, Carlie enjoys photography and graphic design. She is inspired by the words of Dolly Parton: “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”
Reilly Rawlings, also a senior, has been appointed as the chapter treasurer. Reilly, who has previous officer experience, enjoys singing and writing. He adheres to Eleanor Roosevelt’s wisdom: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
Madisen Jones and Diego Montiel Bonilla are serving as chapter reporters. Madisen is entering her senior year, loves painting and horseback riding, and her guiding quote is, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you” – Isaiah 41:10. Diego, a junior, enjoys riding his ATV, cooking, and playing the electric guitar. He lives by the motto: “A teaspoon of try will outdo a bucket of talent any day. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don’t have a little bit of try to go with it, it’s not going to get you very far.” – JB Mauney.
Gracie Graham takes on the role of sentinel. With prior experience in the office and as a senior, Gracie enjoys hunting and training her dogs. She strives to live by the quote, “Die with memories not dreams.”
Completing the leadership team is Bailey Woomer, serving as the student advisor. Also, a senior and a former officer, Bailey enjoys volleyball and showing cows, and she believes that “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work.”
The officer team strives to empower members and encourage self-directed learning. They invite learners to actively participate in their educational journeys within the Agricultural Education Program. Members are encouraged to engage fully in three key components: Classroom/Laboratory Instruction, Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and FFA involvement.
The Tyrone Area FFA Chapter Officers strive to cultivate a generation of motivated, passionate, and engaged individuals who are prepared to ignite their futures.
