Tractor Supply Company and National FFA’s tenth annual Grants for Growing Fundraiser runs until February 22. The fundraiser supports FFA chapters across the country, including the Tyrone Area FFA.
Customers at Tractor Supply between Tyrone and Bellwood and other locations can purchase paper FFA emblems at the checkout or online. The money raised helps fund competitive grants of up to $5,000 for middle and high school FFA chapters.
“This year marks a significant milestone as we celebrate 40 years of partnership with FFA, making our Grants for Growing fundraiser more special than ever,” stated Kimberley Gardiner, Chief Marketing Officer at Tractor Supply.
The Tyrone Area FFA used grant money they received from Tractor Supply in 2024 to purchase tabletop lathes for students to create a variety of items, including pens, ornaments, and more.
There is a display of items created by Tyrone Area FFA students on these lathes at Tractor Supply near Tyrone this weekend.
Tractor Supply has awarded 1,795 grants that have impacted over 182,000 students through the Grants for Growing program.
Since 1985 Tractor Supply has contributed nearly $24 million through various initiatives to support FFA’s mission of preparing members for leadership roles and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture.
“Over the years, the projects funded by these grants have empowered FFA members to make a lasting impact on their communities. The funds raised this year will ensure that this vital work continues for generations to come. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our customers and invite them to help us make this anniversary year our most successful fundraiser yet, continuing to fuel the dreams of young people and the future of Life Out Here,” said Gardiner.
