The track team split their meet at Juniata Valley on Thursday, April 14. The boys won 125-21, and the girls lost a close meet, 76-74.

On the boy’s side, Dravyn Crowell took 2nd in the 100 (11.57) and Deegan Baldauf followed behind him (11.57).

The boys swept the 200 with Dravyn Crowell (23.93), Austin Lucas (24.45), and Deegan Baldauf (24.72).

The boys also swept the 400 with Rocky Romani (59.69), Colton Veres (59.71), and Clayton Moore (1:07). AJ Detwiler won the 800 (2:10), and Rory Quigley followed behind (2:23).

The boys swept the mile with Colton Fink (5:06), Rory Quigley (5:15), and Ethan McCloskey (5:23).

McCloskey won the two mile (12:42). Justin Jackson won the 100 hurdles (17.19), and Cohen Wallace earned 3rd (19.96).

The boys swept the 300 hurdles with Justin Jackson (46.83), Evan McFadden (47.75), and Cohen Wallace (52.57).

The 4×1 relay of Baldauf, Hoover, Ronan, and Crowell won (46.0). The 4×4 relay of Detwiler, Fink, Veres, and Chirdon won (4:14), and the 4×8 relay of Detwiler, Fink, Romani, and Quigley won (11:25.65).

The boys also dominated in the field. They swept the high jump behind Jacob Johnson (5-6), Brady Ronan (5-6), and Andrew Weaver (5-4).

The boys also swept the long jump with Brady Ronan (19-0.5), Jacob Johnson (17-2.5), and Dravyn Crowell (17-1), and they swept the triple jump behind Andrew Weaver (37-0.75), Jacob Johnson (37-0.5), and Justin Jackson (36-5.75).

In the pole vault, Justin Jackson earned 2nd (9-6), and Jacob Johnson earned 3rd (7-6). For throws, Keegan Gwinn and Gavin Woomer dominated.

Gwinn earned 1st in the shot put (38-7), 1st in the javelin (146-9), and 3rd in the discus (92-0).

Woomer earned 1st in the discus (100-10), 2nd in the shot put (37-9), and 2nd in the javelin (117-4).

On the girl’s side, Eva Toth earned 2nd in the 100 (13.9), and Brianna Britton followed behind (14.13).

Reagan Irons took 2nd in the 200 (27.84) and Brianna Britton earned 3rd (30.72).

In the 400, Eliza Vance earned 1st (1:04.39), and Stephanie Ramsey earned 3rd (1:12).

For the 800, Eliza Vance won the event (2:47), and Stephanie Ramsey took 3rd (2:59). In the mile, Emma Bartel took 3rd (7:21).

In the 100 hurdles, Eva Toth earned 1st (17.5), and Avalynn Moore earned 3rd (18.78). In the 300 hurdles, Avalyn Moore won (56.34), and Eva Toth earned 3rd (1:02).

The relay team of Reese Bartel, Ramsey, and Vance won the 4×8 (12:16).

Irons and Saltsgiver dominated the jumps, earning 1st and 2nd for the high, long, and triple jumps.

Rayann Walls had a successful day in the field getting 2nd in the4 shot (25-2) and 2nd in the discus (78-4). Kaitlyn Houck earned 3rd in the javelin (81-5).
