High school and middle school teacher Jordan Bondi is a student favorite around the school.
Bondi has been a member of the PE faculty for the past three years.
“He is very involved with gym class and always gives us good competition. He also encourages people to get involved during gym class,” junior Amariah Sprankle said.
Bondi’s competitive spirit makes PE more enjoyable.
Along with teaching grades 5-12 PE, Bondi also teaches high school driver’s education.
After school, he teaches behind the wheel. Bondi is very involved with the school and has an impact on a lot of students’ lives.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies include golfing and ultimate frisbee. I also love spending time with my son and wife.
What is some good advice you’ve been given as a teacher?
QTIP. Quit Taking It Personal. Students aren’t always trying to be defiant. I try to put myself in the students’ position and understand them better by truly getting to know them.
What is the hardest part of teaching and why?
Accepting that not every student is going to instantly connect with me. But in time, they will open up and be ready to listen and learn.
What are some of the jobs you held before getting into teaching?
I was a server at Cracker Barrel. It was a fun job that I would suggest to any young adult.
What is your best advice to students?
