Tyrone Area High School students will have the opportunity to explore the many clubs and extracurricular activities offered at the high school during the Club Fair on Friday, September 19, during seventh and eighth periods.
Students from each grade level will be called down sequentially, starting with freshmen and ending with seniors.
The Club Fair offers students an opportunity to meet club representatives, ask questions, and learn about membership and upcoming events.
The club fair was organized by senior Addison Warren, with the help of Mr. Rhoades and Mr. Ricciotti.
“I planned where each table would go, printed out all of the sign-up sheets, and did all of the behind-the-scenes work. I’m really hoping that people enjoy this as much as the seniors did as freshmen,” Warren said. “I will be at the club fair, managing it, making sure everything is running smoothly, and I’ll be representing the Golden Revolution at their table.”
Setup for the fair will take place during fifth period, allowing clubs to prepare their tables and materials.
Tables will be set up for 12 out of 16 clubs at the high school. Participating clubs are: All Eagles, FFA, Drama Club, HOSA, YAN, Student Council, Golden Revolution, FBLA, Aevidum, Freedom Flag Committee, Ski Club, and Mock Trial.
Students are encouraged to visit multiple tables and learn about the clubs and their purpose.
The event is expected to be an engaging way for students to discover new opportunities and get involved in activities at school.
