TAHS Econ Class Looking for Product Ideas
The Tyrone Area High School economics classes are looking for product ideas to sell and would like to get input from the students and community.
Every semester students in Mr. McNitt’s Economics classes work together to run a small business and sell a product in the community.
“As a class, we want to sell something that the community will enjoy buying. Our previous econ classes have done very well but we have received feedback that the clothing apparel is starting to become repetitive. So we thought why not ask the community and buyers for their thoughts and feedback on what they would want,” said senior econ student Kayla Michenfelter.
The class is looking to sell something different from the classic crewneck and t-shirt. However, that doesn’t mean that the group will not consider good apparel ideas.
“I am the vice president of the production department in one of our classes and it is becoming a lot harder to figure out products that are different yet will still please the community,” said senior Andrew Savino.
The only requirements are that products must be school appropriate and students cannot sell food or drink.
