Summer Roller Hockey League at Reservoir Park Beginning Soon
Current TAHS students age 14 and over are encouraged to join the High School Team
The Tyrone Roller Hockey League is set to begin it’s 2016 season at Reservoir Park in Tyrone on Sunday, April 24.
The league has been around since 2008 and is open to anyone age fourteen and up. The registration fee is $40 per player.
The games are played on Sunday afternoons at the Reservoir Park rink from late April to August and culminates in the annual Summer Classic championship series to claim ‘The Cup’.
A group of Tyrone High School students have had team in the league for two years and encourage any current TAHS students age fourteen or over to join.
The first team practice is April 12th at the Tyrone Roller Hockey Rink from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
The head coach is Theron Glenny. He has been coaching the team for two years and encourages new players to come out and give it a try.
