Senior setter Bailey Snyder reached a major milestone in her volleyball career by reaching 500th assists. She earned this goal October 6th in a loss vs Somerset on Senior Night.
Snyder is only the third player in Tyrone history to reach this amazing accomplishment. She joins former Lady Eagles Mattie Cherry and Maddy Rockwell as 500 assist holders.
Bailey is the third person so far this volleyball season to hit a 500 goal along with Rylan Crowell’s 500 kills and Abby Anthony’s 500 digs.
“I am so proud of myself for being able to push myself to the best I can and hitting a milestone proves that hard work does pay off.” said Snyder.
Snyder has been playing for nine years and started when Kraft had recruited her to join the program and become a manager with her friends.
She has been so passionate about setting her entire life and has poured herself into perfecting her position. Snyder is the starting setter on the varsity floor; this comes with many challenges and levels of stress, but she has taken all of this head on and excelled with lots of hard work and dedication.
Her teammates could not be more happy, excited, and proud of her.
“I’ve played with Bailey since ten years ago, seeing her accomplish this was amazing.” said senior Raeleigh Oliver. “All I could see was little boo trying to be the best and finally getting where she wanted to be.”
