The TAHS yearbook staff is busy working on the 2025 edition of the Tyrone Eagle Yearbook. One of the most important parts is the senior section.
To make the yearbook as personal and meaningful as possible for the seniors, the yearbook staff would like all seniors to submit their favorite senior photo and childhood photo for publication in the special senior section.
The deadline for submitting senior photos is January 31, 2025.
The staff is also taking orders for senior ads. Senior Ad orders made by January 31 will be discounted by $10.00 and guaranteed space in the book.
Orders for senior ads made after January 31 will be $10 more per ad and will only be included if space is available in the yearbook.
Below are the requirements for photos as well as links to the forms to upload photos and reserve senior ads:
SENIOR PORTRAITS/BABY PHOTOS
Each senior is asked to submit two photos to the yearbook by January 31, 2025.
- One senior photo
- One baby/childhood photo
All photos should be in high-resolution .jpg format. Low-quality images cannot be used in the yearbook.
Photos must meet the following requirements:
- Photos should be of professional quality
- Photos should be in portrait orientation.
- Photos should be “head and shoulders” or “waist up.” Space in the yearbook is limited, so full-body shots or landscape photos will be cropped to fit the pages.
- Dress may be formal or casual but must adhere to the TAHS dress code.
- No excessive rips in clothing. No graphic shirts with slogans or messages.
- No props of any kind, including weapons, sports equipment, or hats.
- No “selfies.”
- For the baby/child photo: “head and shoulder” photos are preferred due to the space available for the photos.
If you do not have electronic versions of your photos, seniors can drop off original photographs in the Eagle Eye/yearbook classroom (room 230) or they can be dropped off at the Tyrone Area High School Main Office and they will be scanned for the yearbook.
Please do not send your only copy of senior or baby photos to us. Walmart, Walgreens, or the Film Center in Altoona can scan and email photos at a reasonable cost. If you send original photos, please label each with the senior’s name and place them in a labeled envelope.

SENIOR ADS
Senior recognition ads are a popular way to acknowledge the accomplishments of each graduate, preserved forever in their high school yearbook.
Senior recognition ads also help support the yearbook program. We rely on senior ad sales to keep the cost of the book down and maintain our cameras and equipment.
All Senior Recognition Ad orders placed by January 31, 2025, are guaranteed space in the yearbook. Orders received after January 31 will cost an additional $10 and only be included if space is available.
All orders received after January 31 will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you do not have your senior photos by January 31 and wish to use them in the yearbook, email Mr. Cammarata ASAP.
Last year we sold out of ad space so please order early to ensure a spot in the book. Ads are not guaranteed space in the yearbook until payment is received and processed.
