Senior of the Week: Madison Yothers
Eagle Eye: What are your plans after high school?
Maddy Yothers: “Attend Altoona Beauty School for cosmetology in hopes to open a salon in the future to encourage women.”
EE: What will you miss most about high school?
MY: “Seeing my friends everyday, POPS performances, and school dances.”
EE: What was your favorite class//teacher why?
MY:” Chem with Mr. Funicelli. I enjoy chemistry and he was a good teacher and had a good sense of humor and a silly class. We watched the Office and marble races.”
EE: What are you looking forward to after graduation?
MY: “Pursuing a job that I will love to do, meeting new people, and learning new things.”
EE: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
MY: “Married, serving God with my job, working and owning my own salon still local.”
EE: Do you have any advice to underclassmen?
MY: “Remember that no beauty shines brighter than a good heart. And never stop learning and growing as a person.”
EE: What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
MY: “POPS Extension, Student Council, Aevidum, Lifting, Church and I work at Village Pantry.”
EE: What’s your favorite non vulgar word?
MY: “Silly.”
EE: Mac’s Market or East End? Why?
MY: “Mac’s es muy bien.”
EE: What are some of your high school accomplishments?
MY: “Hitting a home run in 9th grade. Joining POPS. PR of 215 pound squat in tenth grade.”
EE: It’s been a long ride, are you ready for it to come to an end?
MY: “Depends on the day, but I’m excited to see where God leads me after high school.”
