Tyrone students, teachers, staff, and members of the community are invited to participate in the ‘See You at the Pole’ Prayer Event on Wednesday, September 25 at the Tyrone Area Middle and High School flag pole.

“See You at the Pole” is a national event where students and the community meet at their school flagpoles and pray for each other on the same day and at the same time.

Tyrone junior Grace Corl is the student organizer of the Tyrone event. Corl said students from all grades, teachers, and staff are invited to participate.

“We are doing this event so we can pray over the school and the community,” Corl said.

Corl said the event is a great event to support the community and each other.

‘See You at the Pole’ began in Burleson, Texas in 1990. A group of students in a youth group felt like praying for several schools while they were away at a retreat, the students came together seeking God.

“It’s an opportunity for us to come together and pray for each other,” Corl said.

Corl hopes to see everyone there.
