The deadline for all forms and fees for the 2016 Tyrone High School Junior-Senior Prom is TOMORROW, Friday April 14, 2016.  The Prom will be held on May 13, 2016 at the Altoona Heritage Discovery Center in Downtown Altoona from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Important information regarding the prom is as follows:

• All students and their guests attending the prom are required to complete the “Prom 2016 Registration Form” or “Prom 2016 Guest Registration Form”.  These forms are available outside Mrs. Marasco’s Room 238 and are due on Friday, April 15.  Forms and fees for couples should be in the same envelope. If forms and fees are not placed in an envelope, they will not be accepted.

• If you do not attend school on May 13th, you will not be permitted to attend the prom.  Dismissal for students will be 10:30 a.m.  Students must submit a written excuse from a parent/guardian to the attendance office by Thursday, May 12th to be dismissed at 10:30 a.m. for prom preparations.

• Table sign-ups will be on April, 21, 2016 in Mrs. Marasco’s room 238

• All guests from outside of TAHS must submit proof of age with their guest registration form. This includes the following: The guest’s picture, ID (it can be a copy of a valid driver’s licence, military ID or ID card)  If the student is under the age of 16, they must submit a copy of their current school ID card. This identification will be required for admission to “Prom 2016.” – NO exceptions.

• Prom/Guest fees are $40.00 per person. Every person attending prom must pay these fees. Fees are non-refundable! (Check or money order should be made payable to TAHS).

• All detentions must be completed in order to attend prom by Monday, May 2nd.  All outstanding bills and fines must be paid in full by Monday, May 9th, 2016 to the main office to attend the prom.

• Any student on suspension on the date of the prom will not be permitted to attend.

• Formal dress is required throughout the entire event. No jeans or casual wear is permitted.

• Admission tickets, royal court voting tickets, parking pass, and other pertinent information will be distributed to all students attending the prom on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in the cafeteria.
