National FFA Week Kicks Off Saturday
The Tyrone High School FFA chapter, will join more than 669,000 FFA members nationwide to celebrate National FFA Week from February 16 to February 23, 2019.
National FFA Week has been held every year since 1948 to celebrate the organization’s past success and future goals. The tradition of FFA week helps keep the legacy and awareness of agriculture going through every members stories.
Although National FFA week happens every year, each year has its own theme to help plan the events and acknowledge a different meaning throughout the organization.
The theme this year is “Just One.”
The theme was chosen to demonstrate that every individual action can help the organization prosper. Everything is inspired by one thing, the one change and one action. This year for FFA week, the organization wants to inspire every member to come forward and tell their story.
Every life moment, every milestone, one choice, one chance, one risk, one moment of courage is all it takes to inspire another FFA member, change a life or follow a dream.
FFA week is dedicated to challenging members to move out of their comfort zone and make positive changes in the community. It’s time for members to go out and tell their story.
